Pregnancy 2 (Warning - Nudity)

Taken several weeks ago, this gal is a model and will probably be delivering in early July.

This shot was an accident, where the strobes hadn't recycled yet when I fired, but I like it better than the 'correct' images. Comments?

GB, I like the single light source coming from the distant camera right. Its moody and creates wonderful contrasts and sculpts the curves of her belly very nicely. I do like her head position and light outlining the profile of neck and lips and a bit of forehead as well. The black bg with the red sheet is a good setup.

Two main issues that I seem to have a problem with are the position of her left arm and the gloves. The gloves might work for me if she were wearing some other pieces of lingerie, but just the gloves alone seems odd. I'd rather see her just completely bare.

The positioning of her left arm ( and the glove with the piece of lace hanging from below) are creating distracting shadows on her upper body and blocking out the light that would be glancing across her neck and breasts. This rim lighting of her form would have been the beauty of this shot, but its blocked.
If the left arm were positioned as the right one is, this probably would be a very fine image, but the way its blocking the lighting as it were is killing the deal for me on this one.

I agree with the previous post. The gloves are distracting to the eye. Her body is beautiful and the red sheet looks lovely. The gloves just seem to be too much.

Thanks fellows - interesting observations. I didn't even think about the gloves possibly looking odd as I've pretty much seen it all living here in S. Cali, but I can definitely see where it may appear unusual. She's also wearing a medallion that may make one ask the same question. The medallion is my main prob with this one - the angle of it sort of limits your view of it, and makes it look strange.

I guess that left arm is blocking the light. I wonder what the light situ would be like w/o that blockage? I'll have to check my other images. I do have one more to post her that I like, so stay tuned.
