    Prague..

I was digging through some old photos I snapped during a 24 hour stay in Prague in the month of October. It was raining and the conditions weren't ideal but here is two pictures none the less.. Critique always welcome.. cheers...

Rain isn't always "less than ideal" sometimes it gives a luster to otherwise dull scenery. I was in Prague for a week last summer and recognize the clock but where was the top photo taken?

The top photos is in the Castle courtyard, what you see is the side of the cathedral (the back of it) that faces towards the river.

I wasn't as happy with the shots from that night as I had wished, excuses or not I was sucking big time in the area of composition and watching my lighting.. maybe I can blame the cold!

    thanks for the reply!

    Re: Prague..

I lost an entire gig of photos of Prague castle and the surrounding area. I was using a fairly but not completely new CF card. It's the only card that's ever gone bad on me and I lost what I think would have been my best photos of the trip. None of the many image recovery products I tried on it worked and after I gave up on that I found that I couldn't even format the card.
