Power Line Snow Fall

Kind of an odd perspective but I liked it.........Does anyone have any comments on how I could make this shot better?

Dunno about this one. It seems to need something more. I see what attracted you to it, but I'm thinking it needs either a wider lens, or to be taken from a father distance, or a stronger zoom and maybe a different POV altogether. You start to see something more as you get further to the back of the shot where the lines start to converge together. But that's just me.

What I'd try is to make the power line end in the lower right corner by cropping (either this photo or in future shots) below the top most lines and the transformer. Lose the snow covered trees and bottom crosspieces. The work on color saturation and contrast to make the sky stand out some more and the poles to be more defined.

This way you would have a subject, power lines/poles; a setting, the outdoors and the sky; and a very good technique, a leading line (the power line going from left to right and top to bottom) to draw the eye through the photograph.

I like the unusual subject matter and the contrast it offers to the brilliant blue skies in the background. I think that the comments are correct, zoom in or take it from further away, the tree line and the tight crop on the right hand side don't help the end result but certainly understand why you took this.
