I like them all! The title of the last shot is great and works very well in a very dark way.The boat, I kind of think that it would be better to view just a little more water and less tree but of the three it the second photo that really grabs my attention.

There is a huge contrast in the sky in the background of the image from the left to the right and the fact that the couple are embracing each other under the 'dark side' creases a sense of intrigue!! The fountain presents a clear analogy that requires no introduction and as for the bold formation of the tower in the centre of the image, well, enough said! Really like it, again, my only suggestion would have been to slightly shift the frame to the right or crop some of the trees out of this otherwise very vibrant scene!

    Thanks for sharing

    Hi Tuna,
Photo 2 is my favourite. I like the mood depicted. A number of changing tones is also interesting, e.g. the jeans of the girl wearing, the lawn and the sky. I hope that black area behind the pair would be sand, which would increase the background continuity.

#3 if you please. So dry, so urbane, so Tuna. The angle of this is so interesting to me and the scale and tones of the houses mimic the grave stones. It's the one that made me smile when I saw it.

#1 is quite haunting, but I'm attracted to derelicts. I think it an interesting choice as to more boat reflection or leafy canopy and you chose Canopy. It makes me feel like the leaves are pushing this boat down into the water, which I like.

#2 Looks more like "Leaving Lovers in Kensington Gardens". This says to me "Goodbye" rather than "Tryst", the boy looks sad and uncommitted to the embrace, but then, I've been accused of reading too much into things before.

I wouldn't toss any of them. Put them in your safe deposit closet and wait for them to age.

#1 lovely composition - I like the way the trees and branches are pushng the boat away. The one (Nitpic by the way) thing I spotted is the boat/dingy behind the stone and once spotted I found it slightly distracting.

#2 I like the concept but they seem a little artificial or as CL said perhaps its a parting. Comnposition is fine.

#3 This is possibly my favourite as it appeals to my warped humour. I like the title suits it perfectly.

By the way technically their all fine, and if they were mine I'd keep the lot.

    Hi Tuna,
I like all of that series. I think the first is my favorites. I like boats in general, and I really like the texture in the trees. Very nicely done.

I find the angle of the third intriguing. It does not seem like the camera is that close to the ground. Did you warp this a little in PP?

    Cheers,

Don't you dare toss any of these. I like the composition of #3, especially with that title!
Light, reflection, and shadow of #1, super!!

    Re: Potpourri

These are all very good images, and I find myself liking the 1st , of the boat best. It's simple, and the boat has character. Lighting good as well.
The 2nd shot I like everything about it except the couple, for some reason. I feel like they just don't "fit" the look of the scene. It is still a fine image and I would not suggest tossing it at all.

The 3rd is a very unusual comp. It is not one of my favorites from you, but i still feel it is very good and certainly worthy of keeping.
