Posting an Old Favorite....A long night at the fair...

I captured this image about two years ago at my County Fair. This has been one of my favorite images for years, and I'm wondering what you all think of it.

I like his expression and body language.

i think the photo needs a bit of fill in flash around the eyes and a bit of a crop on the right to get rid of the posters, but other than that its a good photo.

    Hi,
This is a wonderful capture. To me, the man has been waiting for customers and feeling a bit bored. The background supplements the picture well. I agree that fill flash would be helpful. Nice shot!

This is one where it is okay to have the face in shadow, I think.

This is a fine variation on a street photo. I like the dark eyes as it lends a universal anonymity to the whole picture. The body language and overall order to everything says 'lull'.

    Thanks for showing this one!

    Nice.
I'd like just a little dodging on the face, not much.
Enough to see the expression better.

Don't take out the posters, his face next to the "happy clown mug" poster is great !
After all, it is a almost a mug-shot (groan)

I was going to say exactly the same thing about the happy clown mug poster...hehe. That was the first thing that struck me.

The body expression says it all, keep it as it is. This photograph reminds all of us of the good-ole days when we did not have to pay for those wonderful FAIRS!!! Always rained here in South Carolina during the Upper State Fair.

Re: Posting an Old Favorite....A long night at the fair...

Thank you, everyone, for your comments. I would love to go back and make some of the suggested changed, but I can't seem to find the original image. When it was being shuffled between 3 computers, it seems that it got lost somewhere.

Thanks again for all the good critiques. I should have another interesting fair picture to post soon.
