    Post-meal drinks

A single shot from a holidy gathering. No real planning here, but I wish my friend's face wasn't bisected by the bottle neck. What do y'all think?

I agree that the bisected face is the main problem.
I'd crop a bit from the bottom and from left up to the edge of the door frame.

I'd crop even more-up to his shoulder (although you would then lose the blurred childs face). That way the image would more conform to thirds and get that bottle and person out of the center of the frame and I think it would make a stronger image with just bottles, faces and glasses.
    No, I DON'T need that.

It always amazes me when you get a cool photo you weren't planning on such as this from a family gathering. The bisected face isn't an issue for me. I agree about the crop to the shoulder to put the focus on the foreground bottles bringing you into the picture from the right. Depending on far you want to go with this you may consider cloning out what looks like a was of paper to the left of the candle.
