    Re: Portrait

Quite an effective portraiture, IMO. I would have panned to the left a little to balance the two of them within the shot. I like the dog at the bottom, but where's the Schipperke dogs? I think the black and white adds to the shot. It is also just a little tight, seems subjects like the dog are almost squeezed out. I would suggest taking a step or two back next time. Still effective.

    Re: Portrait

Was there room for the people to move a bit to your right?

The white car by the man's head is somewhat distracting.

Good subjects and setting, they look like they belong, I like the included dog, but would like to see the whole dog as well.

Good choice with black and white.

its a good subject, but i would like to see a bit more at the botton, so we can view the entire dog. Be careful with dodging too, it's evident this has been worked on. nice placement and expression though.

    Re: Portrait

This is a nice capture indeed....

I like the expressions of the subjects which fits very nicely... the b&w is an obviously very good choice...

My only issue is, since it seems you shot this fromt he dock, then crouch.... I believe it would have given you a better angle... now that means you would have needed to step back in order to get the dog... but it would not have felt this tight...

In any case, one could argue that this way is best, because it expresses the tightness of living on a boat, but somehow, i don't think this was suggested here

    Nice shot..
