    Willem,

    It's so good to see you posting your wonderful b&w photos again. I love Ilford film btw. I'm strictly digital now because I don't have time for both - and the digital saves me time and money. But I sure miss those "real life" b&w that you get with film.

    This is an excellent portrait, Willem - composition, contrast - it's all good as usual.

    Please keep posting - we've missed you.

    thats an awesome pic man. i dont have anything to say about it besides its just perfect, i wish i could do that at this point, and am trying my best to get where you are.

    do you have any pointers on shooting people/portraits sir?

    The guy looks great but my eye is being dragged away somewhat by the too much in focus background.

    I like this portrait - a bit of a "hard case". I think the background adds to the portrait giving some reference to his environment.

    I work for a trucking firm and some of the characters with their beards and rough appearnace would make great shots. Thanks for the inspiration to try.
