nice one, Good to have a cool tree in the foreground of a picture of the straight.

Port gamble is the old logging town right? Used to drive through there quite a bit on the way to places. (I used to live in Port Angeles)

Actually I am not sure. It is in Washington and not too far from Seattle. I shot this last Summer on a trip over there. I live on the other side of the state.

yeah i'm pretty sure it is, it has the 25mph section of "highway" with big white houses on the side of the road.

    Where on the other side?

Beautiful composition with an interesting foreground. Because the foreground occupies so much of the frame, I 'd like to see it in sharper focus.
    Nice work.

sweet, I have a lot of family in spokane, sort of my secondary home spokane is

The second picture I'm not really sure about, the two water towers are pleasing to the eye, but cropping the dumpster out might be beneficial. If you get a chance to reshoot this, you may want to use something like a different angle so you can use the bush to block out the dumpster.

I know the 8 hour drive isnt worth it for PG alone, but maybe you'll be in PG sometime on the way somewhere, like when you go visit deeper into the olympic peninsula, which is worth it ;)

We may be going over again before Winter. I am hoping so. If not, it may be spring before I go again.....which is okay because spring is pretty over there.
