    Porcupine

I had been watching this little lad on a job i was working on this week but could not get a clear shot of him , he was always hiding behind a branch or he had to much sunlight on him . Another thing was that he was about 35 feet up this huge oak tree , i watched him up there all week .Being a powerlineman i had access to a bucket truck but there was no road close enough to use it , so today i got the 24 foot ladder out then climbed the rest of the tree and this is the picture i got .

    Re: Porcupine

I think it was worth all the effort, especially since it's not mine.
    Nice work.

Nice story along with it. It's a tad bright, but that can be fixed, and a very unique subject! Nice shot.

These are the things that photographers do in order to get their shot. Glad you were able to get a decent one. Great improvement on 2nd post. What a cute little feller !

Knight, it is not too bad and would have really been good had there been some light in the porcs face at least just enough to sparkle the eye . The story that goes along with the shot really makes it more interesting for me. I like your conviction.

    Re: Porcupine

Yupp a twinkle of sun in his eye would have made a great photo but i guess its not to be for this one maybe i can get another next week. These animals dont seem to move to much so chances are i should be able to get some more Photos of this little guy.
What time of day has the best light for photos ?

    Thanks for the critiques
