    Pool in Guatemala

My girlfriend casually snapped this picture with a cheap little camera in Guatemala, but I found this to have some merit, even if only for its natural appearance. It is entirely original (no touch ups or Photoshop), so it could obviously use some changes, but that isn't why I am posting.

Hello, I too think that this is interesting. Obviously, it is tilted and the post at the right is somewhat distracting (but then, a simple rotation to correct tilt would force you to get rid of the post anyway). I could keep going on on slight corrections that could be made but I'll sum up by saying that your girlfriend seems to have a good eye for composition. Overall, the picture is well put together.

I agree, for a candid shot, you did quite well. Seb prety much sums everything up I was thinking.

    Nice shot,

I'm sorry mbw234 but this nothing for me at all. It lacks any interest for me. But as a picture perhaps to look back on "Thats where we stayed" it serves it's purpose. Should the title not be Hotel In Guatemala? No pool in sight.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
