A nice idea but it doesn't quite make it. I think it's because the images are quite busy with all the small blossums and the bees are about the same color as the background and hard to pick out. They are also softer than the blue flowers. Maybe less background?

Same here, I think. The concept is nice, but for some reason the background ruins it. Not sure if it needs to be more out of focus, or what. It almost looks like the background was overexposed. The bees being (no pun) close to the same color does not help. This could be a good candidate to play around with in Photoshop, or a similar program.
