I love this photo of my dog. It's one of my favorites. The problem is vey clear. The top right is all blown out and I was wondering what can be done to save this image?
Please feel free to edit away .. if someone could help this photo out.. that would be awesome.

Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
Nikon Samurai #13
"A photographer is known by what he shows not by what he throws. The best photographers have the biggest trash cans." Quote from Nikon School sometime in the early 1970's.
I played w/ this for a few minutes in PSP and don't know that the result is any better than Old Timer's...
what I did was to seperate the left & right background, adjust the brightness/contrast and add it as a new layer, using the eraser tool to feather the edges back in. Then seperate the right ear and adjust that the same way but with different values and set that as an overlay layer. Merge all layers, auto clarify, resize to 800pixels wide and unsharp mask.
Thanks you guys - I appreciate it. I love photoshop's abilities, but unfortunately.. I'm no expert with it. Old timer, yours looks great and jetrim I like the clarity in yours..
Thanks a bunch!

Though I would give it a go... I went a slightly different direction than the other two posts..Figured I would fille the blown out areas with something.
Cheers,
