It's not bad, (coming from someone who doesn't even hace one yet), it coul use something off the tail end of you last name ,like the year or somthing, that way when you make it big, we will know it's an original ALMO

Almo, nice images. I like the smaller sig better as it is more refined and subtle. Looks good to me.

I agree with gary, the small one is discreet enough to not be cumbersome and looks good to boot. The big one weights too heavily on the picture

Hi Almo, with regards to the signature, I still prefer the other one (small version). I think two lines plus year makes it too long, and i prefer the idea of a tag, or logo of your signature as a copyright marker rather than your whole signature if you know what i mean.

As for the photos, that portrait is fantastic, you've caught just enough of his body to show the angle of his head and the picture actually tells a story as if he's walking and laughing at something he's just thought about. Great capture.

The colors in the second one are absolutely amazing but all the silhouettes look a bit soft to me.

    Regards

    Chris

Almo, this is my favorite, i don't think you need the 05 IMHO, love the portrait of your father, it's excellent. Your black and white shots are truly amazing.

That's the one i like. Cool self portrait, quite in your face . I notice you'd finished shaving your head at that stage.

    Nice one

No worries almo, it's my last day at work today so not a lot for me to do here. It's more fun on PR.com anyways

hey almo! im only at the begining with photography. Could you tell me exactly how did you set the camera parameters, and where exactly did you shoot that picture(the self portrait), what was the light source, etc... . thanks.

    Sure thing, thanks for asking

I shot this at night using a canon D30 and a 28-80mm efII zoom lens, ISO 1600, F16 @1/200. The light sourse was a sunpak flashgun with a bounce reflector, and the lens focal at 28.0mm.

I shot this by sitting the camera on my tummy..lol I have a big enough one, and just clicking off a few shots til I got something I liked. The I used photoshop to enhance the levels and slightly crop it.

    That's pretty well it.

    Thanks again.

Almo, I like the signature effect - though I worry that anything of the sort will detract from the image itself (as would a copyright mark or date, etc.). And I wouldn't want anything to take my attention away from your excellent images - especially the portraits. And especially the portrait of your self - a bizarre moment or everyday reflection? - either way, we know you better for it.
