    I like the leaf in the top image but the floral highlights are blown out.

    In the middle one the flower looks blurred.

    In the bottom image the leaf is too dark and there are brown tinges around the outside of the flower.

    I'd say the issue with all three is lighting and color balance. Now granted I am being fairly picky but still lifes give the artist a chance to get everything right. With rights come obligations.

    Along with what MB said you might try shooting vertical and include the vase.

    I had included a portion of the vase (a clear glass wine carraffe) in some of the shots,
    but I felt it detracted from the overall impact, and simplicity of the subject.
    I will review my originals. :thumbsup:
