Beautiful shot. Love the colors, the DOF is superb, and the subject is unique and easy to view! Great shot! Wouldn't change a thing.

    Re: Pink Flowers

julsoph, i like this. The arrangement si good, and i like that the three main flowers are running diagonally acroos the frame, with the center flower being in sharp focus. There is also a very pleasing softness overall that adds to the nature of the subjects and brings a romantic feel. The open space at the bottom i might have liked to see some of it filled in with some flowers deep in the bg, but it does not bother me as it is. You could always clone a bg flower softly into the bottom area, if you felt the same way. It's a very pleasant flower shot. good work

Emily - I like it a lot, esp the DOF. The colors are soothing. The only thing that I think could have been improved is the choice of the one flower in focus, it just seems a little less than a standout. Maybe if it was in focus from front to back instead of just in the center it might be better. Also, your lens seems to provide some really sharp photos there.

    Re: Pink Flowers

Thanks Jared, Gary & GB! I appreciate your thoughts and feedback on this. This is my neighbor's tree...I skulked around their yard a bit while my girls were playing...hehe.
Gary...I wondered about the bit of space there as well, and in fact had cropped a smidgen, because there was a little TOO much space without flower.
GB...should the sharper areas be softer, maybe?

    Thanks again, guys!
