    pink

This is a more traditional flower picture.

I think there is potential here - the out of focus background (the roof of an arbour?) works well, and you have placed the flower in an interesting spot. The burnt out highlights bother me a little - they draw the eye away from the flower. Could you clone some green into them? Not completely - but enough to reduce the glare?

the blow out and bokeh spoil it.. with a semi macro whats at the rear of the frame is of equal importance as the subect.. a nice creamy blur being the desired effect..

    keep at it..

I think this would work better if cropped as a vertical to eliminate the rough-looking bokeh as well as the branch in the lower right. The whole frame is a bit dark, and a tighter crop on the flower with a touch of brightness added would turn this into a keeper, I think.

I agree with the others. If you want to do florals, the subject needs to stand out, even in a more environmental shot. You could try high speed sync flash (next time), which would put more light on the flower, and even out the exposure, so that the bright spot doesn't keep drawing the viewer.
