Some digital pinhole shots. Strong or weak images?

This first image looks like a grove of Aspens or the like.

Both images are too dark to tell what they really are so I would say these lean towards being weak images. Too bad too, I like the idea of digital pinhole.......

These are aspen tree and the bank of a river. I darkened the images on purpose, because I like the way they look that way. I lightened them, do you think they work better?

How did you make a digital pinhole camera?

I don't think these shots are that great but the methodology has potential.
