    pin up style photos

    well i tried my attempt to takr some pin up style photos and see what everyone thinks. I used my Marine Corps uniform that was in storage and my buddies 36 chevy. I did very little in lightroom and its straight from the camera shots.

    85mm 1.8 D
    24-70 2.8 ED
    70-200 2.8 ED VRII
    2xSB900
    Elinchrom Ranger RX 1100watt heads.

    Thought #1: I can't believe you didn't do something to the first shot in PP.

    Thought #2: images 2 and 4 are AWESOME. Very Steve Diet Goedde (which is a huge compliment). The only thing I'm not sure about are the blow-outs in 2. And I might have added a hint of texture. But great work, in any case. I would love to take some photos like those.

    I assume you used natural light?

    yes they were natural light but also used my SB800 and bounced it off a white reflector. If you look at the hub cap in the first photo you can see the set up.lol I thought about doing the sepia to the first but wanted to show off the red of the car.

    every thing was done in lightrom2 with very little adjustments.
