    A Pilot

    I kinda liked this image, let me know anything i could do better or angle better. Not an educated photographer. However i am going to start taking classes on photography, and digital photography computer programs

    Hi, Godfather

    I would have recommended sliding either to your right (to eliminate the distracting part of the windshield) or to your left (to put the distracting part in front of and not intersecting with the pilot). Then, you could have made the pilot cheat his head by turning it to maintain the angle you want.

    But since he is a pilot, I would have slid to the left to show that he is indeed in a plane (and not on a firing range - for example). Open up your aperture even more to make the windshield even more out of focus.

    Minus the angle, I love this shot. The DOF is wonderful and it has a very mysterious "looking into the future" type feel to it. The colors/tones work for me somewhat, except the overblown window. I love the potential for this shot though!

    I really like the lighting on the pilot face. I must say however that the windshield is somewhat distracting but then, I am not sure how I would deal with such a situation myself so....

    thank you all for the help. i took photo for 2 years in high school, and it is now 5 years since my last class, so i dont really remember anything from it. Hopefully after i take the photo classes i am planing on taking this summer it will help me refresh my self
