    Pig Tails

A really quick snap of my great-niece by a door twiddling her pig tails. I couldn't resist!

Shot in RAW, 50mm 1.8 lens, ceiling bounced flash, Manual mode, F/2.8, ISO 100, SS 1/100

Nice tight crop and great colors IMO. The only thing I would have loved to see is including the rest of the hand on the right hand side but I think this shot still works.

    Nice capture.

I started using my 50mm lense again and forgot what this lense is capable of, as shown here, clear, lovely colours and skin tones. Super!

Jared - Yes I thought that a shame too. I wish I had had more time to compose the piece but my great-niece isn't one for posing unlike my own children.
She was dashing around and when I saw her stop and do that I just took a quick snap.

Bev - I haven't long had this lens but I am loving every minute of it. However, I feel my photography is helped by my 430ex flash along with the lens combined. Because I have to have a high shutter speed for these little tikes lol.
