These are neat, but yeah, a little over the top. What did you do to them, specifically?

I like the effect of #1 as well. The pier almost looks like a model. If I ever get me a fisheye I expect plenty of critiques. Well done here.

As soon as you mentioned your [I]velvet elvis[I] I knew what it reminded me of...sort of.
It looks artificial but I think it is well done and yes I think it is worth the effort.
#2 I like the light and the way the clouds and sun are but too much fisheye for my taste.

I think they're awesome. It reminds me how much I need to learn. Being new to photography, seeing these? Man, gets my hopes up for sure. I can see by these that anything is possible with this hobby. Thanks!

I love #1 looks like a cross between a painting and photography.

    Nicely done.

Pretty awesomme shots. The first is like a painting, the bottom like someone dripped a can of paint off a canvas. Nice work

    Re: pier-n-out

thx readingr and GB1,,,Im starting to look at this lens as more of a wide angle than fisheye...I think it can be used fairly well other than distortional fisheye esque.
