I'm gettin' the idea that this is a reflection off the raised top of a grand piano, right?
That triangular space in the lower left of the shot distracts me a bit. Changing the angle from where you took the shot might have eliminated that.

Yup, I agree that technical issues should be overlooked when there is an aesthetic appeal to the image. Too many perfectly exposed, colorful, sharp, clear photos possible with today's digicams, are simply boring. Here, yes, it's fuzzy and out of focus, but the appeal lies in the reflection and the apparent concentration of the person sitting at the piano. I like it.
Love the shot, would have liked to see something in focus as well like the face with the rest as is...if possible, still great shot. I've posted a couple myself, and would be happy to hear what you think?
 Shootme...
Please don't edit and re-post or use my images (not that you'd want to anyway...). without my written permission. Thank you
I've been a fan of yours for sometime now, but frankly this one puzzled me. I agree with Charles assessment on most point but the angle of view threw me for a loop. But I'm all for experimentation and displaying it to see how it flies so bravo from that stand point.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I would like to see something more that shows me this is a reflection, the edge of the top, some of the pianist, edge of the piano, etc. I am also not sure if I like this angle.
