    A photo of a Portrait

the other ninght I was out by a lake and came across an artist painting a portrait. I asked his permission if I could take a picture of it . I focused on the painting it self ( hence the background it a touch blurry ). But there was just something that struck me about it .

    Love it!
I wonder what it would have been if you'd gone vertical so the legs of the tables were complete and not so much bright lake and sky on left.

    What happened to the model?

On the other hand I think the horizontal works really well. I would like to have seen a little less at the top, and like Frog says, the complete legs of the easel stand and stool. Great capture, all in all.

I think this is a great capture, but the tree to the left is distracting to me, what a shame you can't just see off in to the distance. This is very original and a nice shot.

Thank you for your kind words.

when I took the picture I talked to the artist , and the model had left about 2 hrs prior, however he himself said he had been ther efor 6 hours working on it.

and yup that tree is the one the model was sitting next to
