    Re: photo 3

    The first lady is really bright and has a really bad expression... but the lighting in the room was good for a shot like this and I like how the color in the other three ladies' dresses are just bright enough.

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.

    Re: photo 3

    Jackal - The photo has several problems. You didnt spend much time posing them is one, so the seating arrangement is ackward and looks very ad-hoc. 3 of them seem to be smiling anyways, which is a good thing. The exposure is off here because the girl on the left is closer to the camera and flash than the others. The flash will fire and bounce back to a sensor and stop firing, so the best way to get even flash on all your subjects is to have them all the same distance from your camera, sort of in a flattish circular pattern in front of you. If you have one very close and another a lot farther away, you will always have a big difference between exposures as you have here (strangely, your camera exposed for the 2nd person from the left instead of the first. But regardless, it is full of hot and cold spots).

    I guess I could nit pick some more but I think the main problems have been listed. Good luck and try a reshoot.
