    Is that an Elephant?
    Kind of looks like a stalking dinosaur if you look at it differently.
    Assuming it's an Elephant, it seems rather depressed and mopey .

    I find the pole, or wall, or whatever somewhat distracting, but overall I like the image.

    I agree with Pose on the Elephant shot. I would crop out about half of the width of that slab/pole on the right. It's important to the shot to have it there, but I would have less of it I think. The panda shot is nice....

    I would have to agree... you should crop the pole out a little more, the focus is the elephant. I do like the shot though, this is a different view of an elephant and you've done a good job of finding a different way to shoot this... and can elephants really look happy?
    I love the second pic... the blurred background allows for a nice color addition without being too distracting and the light that hits the panda really makes him stand out. I need to take a trip to the zoo here in St. Louis, I have yet to go, though I hear it's one of the best.
