    Hi Chow!

I like this idea and I love her little polished fingernails. On the surface it looks like you could do with a contrast bump and a little warming filter which would bring the colors around. Compositionally, I think this one would really have benefited from a vertical frame, I wish I could see the bottom of her elbows. Perhaps you could get her to play some more?

I agree with CL. I also think that since it's a fun shot, maybe a cheerier background? I tried something out just because I wanted to use a texture so it served a purpose. But maybe you can tell what I mean about changing the background (NOT to this background, just saying maybe lighten it up). The lighting definitely needs work as does the extraction but I think you get what I mean?

    D,

I think that's inspired! And for a slap dash job very neatly conveyed. Cheers!!!

    Re: Peek-A-Boo

i really dig her painted nails too. spectacular splashes of color. it's fantastic that her right hand is a little covered by her hair.

but between the part in her hair and the split between her hands, this photo is divided right in half. but since the angle of her hands is not quite vertical, if you gave just a touch of air between the top of her head and the top of the photo, i think that would remedy the problem.

and while i'm looking more at this, i have an alternative suggestion ... it's kind of a no no, but it might work here. crop it just above her forehead. it brings me into the photo a bit more, and helps concentrate the focus on her spectacular nails.

the flower background D added is neat, but i think it draws away from the simplicity of the first shot. the background is too busy and distracting, and the extra color takes attention away from her special nails.
