    Peace on earth sign

I saw this sign on a recent trip through the country. I am not sure if I like the exposer I may go back and re-shoot. Is it to boring to try again????

    Re: Peace on earth sign

I like how you opened up the frame and got multiple distance layers The sign is good I think and the tree is OK, but the thing that's not great is the field in the back. Maybe it's a little plain, but definitely very bright and sort of overwhelming. Can you reshoot at dawn or dusk?

Good catch btw, seems like Christmas in July.

I love where you are trying to go with this photo. I'm glad to hear you want to go back and reshoot the scene. I'd try to get more DOF. And like GB said, you should DEFINITLY shoot at dusk or dawn. You'll get a warmer feeling and the background won't be so harsh. It will be easier to meter too.
