    The Pea

Just messing about tonight and this turned a little more interesting than I thought it would. I think it's, at least, a step towards something.

    Re: The Pea

The idea of shooting a pea is OK, but I think the pea is probably too small in the frame. The shadow is an interesting twist, but the general environment just seems like a letdown to me, like you didn't put a lot of time into deciding what it would take to make that part interesting. Perhaps if you had some pea leaves, stems, etc,.. Also if it were shot from a less-direct angle.

Do you own a macro lens? If so, assuming it's a 1:1, I think you can probably get closer.

I think the lighting and the position of the shadow as is could be improved.

    Re: The Pea

Its an interesting concept, I think this could go somewhere, perhaps some other element like an orange as the sun.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
