I really like the concept here, framing is great, objects are clear and crisp, love the contrast of the shadows on the sand..
however I think I would have liked to see more water... its a very tight crop up top.
I think b/w is nice, but when I hear beach I think blue water

Very nice pictures. My curiosity is stimulated when looking at the first one, it makes me want to walk right on down that path.

The second picture looks awesome, the picture is so clean and sharp. Definetely a nice shot.

    Tuna,

    Definately keep

The top is excellent and reminds me of many walks to the beach near my parents home in Wales. I love the shadows and the contrast in the sand.

The bottom - superb terrific sharpeness and colurs - composition spot on.

I love the crooked shadows and the car is great too.
    Two wall hangers for sure.

The shadows are awesome on the curved sand. Definately a huge plus. The shadows do add a tad amount of busyness to the pic, but I still think it works. The second picture is nice, but I don't find it particularly amazing in any sense. Though I love the crispness, the subject just doesn't intrest me.

    Nice shots,

    Hello Tuna,

I like the first picture for all the reasons already stated here.

That being said, my heart goes for your second picture. I don't think that a Miata ever looked so artsy. The textures, the colors, the shadows, it all come together and the final resulst is amazing.
