    Fire in the Morning Sky

Hello again, I'm sorry to say I forgot my password and haven't posted any photos in a while.
Here is my latest effort. I took this shot 3 weeks ago from my home. The colors have not been enhanced in any way. Please let me know what you think.

WOW! Awesome color! Hope you saved your password this time! Keep up the great work Eagle_Eye! Just curious! Is this at sunrise or sunset?

Thanks for the comments Scott. I'm sorry for not expaining the shot better. I took the photo in the morning. The sunrise began very pink but by the time I got my digital camera and tripod ready the clouds had turned more yellow.

Very nice shot. I think that if it were mine I would crop about 75% of the black part off the bottom so the pretty colors are even more dominant in the frame.

Greg, I took your advise on cropping most of the black out. Looks much better. Thanks.

Re: Fire in the Morning Sky

For me the image is too monotonous. The horizont could have more interesting details or the sky could have been with more "artistic" elements. The only way to make this picture worth respect was to create a panoramic image, so that we could imply how long did this big "cloud" spread and what shape did it have.

Otherwise, everyone who catches so colourful sunrises are worth respect, it is really hard to get up early in the morning, isn"t it?

I like the cropped version. The silhouette of the tree is very interesting, and gives a sense of perspective for the picture.
