    Frog,

    My problem with the photo is that its to dark, the person sort of merges into the rest of the photo and there is not enough detail to make the person stand out.

    Can you dodge the person a bit to bring some lightness into clothing and face.

    I like the patterns which are replicated on the floor and wall.

    I think Roger has the right idea, the clothing is just too dark. Plus I am thinking the contrast is just a little too high (if I were printing this one it would be on matt paper).
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I don't have any problem at all with how dark the photo is. To me the person is an accessory item to the main theme of the image the wonderful lines and shadows. If any thin I would have moved him forward a bit to get more of the shadowing directly behind him. I think you are are on the right track for sure with this one.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
