    Burst

    Just a fireworks shot. It was pouring rain and windy, but I had access to a doorway from inside a building, directly under the show- stayed dry.

    This is actually interesting ...because of the wind, the light seems to be going to the right rather than down ...not too many shots like this ...didn't even know they do fireworks in the rain and wind.

    Definitely a different take on the fireworks subject. I like it because of that. it's a creative take.

    Looks very close, like a war zone. I think the tree really adds to the shot as it gives it scale. Nice grab in a rough environment.

    Thanks, everyone! I think that the rain also limited the smoke and reduced the altitude of the fireworks trajectories, as well- lucky me. Here's another one from the series, if you don't mind me posting two images in one thread, and here is all of them for anyone interested.
