I like this...Good flowing lines. I'm not an expert by any means, but i find this to be quite pleasing. The texture of the ocean is very calm.
Curious about the location.
Almost looks like the cliffs of dover.Scotland?

Thanks Rick. This was shot in the Magdalen Islands (Qc, Canada). This is the Entry Island to be more specific. Many people consider these landscapes similar to Ireland.
I like this picture. very well taken!! did you do any post work on it. I do see a little black dot in the ocean, might be a bird? you should try removing that. but overall beautiful picture
ube: Yes. I created an overlay layer which enhance color saturation and contrast at the same time. I also did some moderate dodging on the yellow flowers in the foreground to give them some more punch. The black dot most likely is a boat but it's pretty blurry so I can't say for sure.
CF: Thanks!
thecynicroute: Thanks!
Greg: Not that oftenly! The sunlight was strong in most pictures from this series (shutter speed was at least 1/1000. Beside, the very short focal lenght from the wide angle lense minimize potential motion blur.
Seb, you really take great pictures and give me something to aspire too. I'm beginning to think I can pick out your pictures without your name attached to them in any way (I can identify your style)... I would buy this picture

I was looking so hard for the people, or animals, or boat, or something.
I believe you may just have taken a straight panoramic, and in colour too!
But it still says "Seb" and seems to fit in with the other shots.
I can't put my finger on it, but they all have a similar feel, but really I can't describe it.
Paul: Thanks for commenting. Creating a duplicate layer is really easy.
Go to Layer > Duplicate Layer
Then you set the mode of the layer at "Overlay" (it's set at normal by default)
At that point, the effect will be overdone and it will looks weird. You need to set the strenght of the "Opacity" and the "Fill" until it looks right to you. I use to give the same value in % to the Opacity and the Fill. I remember you mentioning that you had issues with the rendering of your monitor at home a while back. I'd strongly suggest that you get a calibration kit (spyder and software) to calibrate your monitor properly. It is an important step in order to allow accurate post processing.
Wow Seb Thats A Beautiful Picture Great Colors Its Just An Amazing View. That Black Dot In The Middle Even Though Its So Small It Keeps Distracting Me But Thats Really Nothing The Clone Stamp Cant Fix With One Click lol. Just Wondering Was That More Than One Picture Stitched Together Or Just One Picture, I Have A Program Called AutoStitch A Free Download That Stictches Pictures Together To Make Them Pararamic Works Good Just Wonderin What You Did.
Jay: Thanks. To tell you the truth, I never even tried to stitch pictures together. This is just a major crop in one single picture. The dot is a boat but I must admit that it is so small it's just annoying. I'll clone it out before printing.
Ronnoco: Thanks. I have been especially lucky during the week I have spent in the Magdalen Islands as it was clear and sunny most of the time but fog do is very common downthere. We faced unusually good weather during our journey.
