    Panned and RAW

Ok, so this week I whipped out the trial version of Nikon Capture, and started taking some shots in RAW format. I also picked this week to work on my panning skills. What I need from you all is not so much a critique, but some kind of input to let me know if I'm on the right track. I took this shot today. Your advice and help is appreciated.

This is just fine. I think you've done a good job here. I would crop it even further to perhaps a quarter inch behind the truck so he has a big space to drive into. Good work.

Thanks CL.......actually, a crop was my first thought, but since I was more interested in getting pointers, I didn't mess with any adjustments like crops.

Pretty good pan for experimenting, a little blur still on the truck. Also, crop off the sign post (?) on the left hand side which makes the first few cm's of the picture a hazed white. It's a interesting shot, reminds me of a car advertisment or something.

    Well done.
