    Palm Springs

Palm Springs, with typical dust storm kicked up by the winds.

    A little too monochromatic?

    Re: Palm Springs

No! it's not too "monochromatic" IMHO.... I love this photo! It's quite unique.

My description - what I see - won't be as artistic as the image!

I love the way everything artfully blends together, the earth, dust mingling with the clouds, metal, wires, lines and waves, crevices in the mountain layers. To me it's a "job well done" and a work of Art. I would love to see this in the right frame hanging on (my) wall!

    Perfect for Earth Day!!!!!!!!!!!

    How did you do this?

Thanks for sharing it. I'll be back to see it again.

    Re: Palm Springs

Greetings Liz, long time no hear! but that's the situation here now (I would love for this website, and forum, to come back to life..)

Thanks for the comment. I was just at the right place at the right time while heading to La Quinta for an art show. PS gets a lot of wind in the spring... I took about 10 shots by just pulling over on the service road adjacent to I-10.

It does seem that the dust at the top makes the scene.

Heading out to Yellowstone next week for ~ 2 weeks total. No idea what to expect

    Happy Earth Day too.
