    Palm / Building: Los Angeles

Had to drive our daughter to Los Angeles area, and being an arborist, felt compelled to photograph some trees.

This was one of my favorite photos, and one of the few where I was taking pics for effect, more-so than for seminar photos.

Can you take a chainsaw and knock down that second palm tree?

I think the first tree with the building is a great setup but the second set of palms without a trunk are just sort of there without adding anything to the image.

BTW that is a pretty good exposure there for what looks like difficult conditions.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Actually, I'd leave the extra fronds if it goes on my office wall, but the easy remedy would be cloning the sky. Must be one of the easier images to make the foliage dissappear from with editing.

Seems that every palm tree photo I took on this trip couldn't escape getting part of another palm, since most were in rows.

Fortunately the sky was not a hazy as the day before when I first arrived.
