painting with time

shot during the day time hours,alittle out of my norm from shooting at night, shot this image during a windy day,at f22,manual settings with a tripod and a remote ,and a 8 second exposure, using three filters.

hope you like,mind you its a experimental subject only.

Interesting use of the filters and all, but I'm not nuts about the subject...but then you did say it was an experimental use only.
I hope to see how this works with something else.

I saw an article about this technique in Popular Photography a few weeks ago. The background appears soft so make sure that your tripod is rock steady and you're focus is on the portions of the shot that aren't going to be subjected to motion, this will amplify the contrast between static and swishy.
