Chunk, I am honnestly unsure about it. I like the comp with the rock at angle but could there be too much reflection? Something seems to be lacking although I can't quite explain it.
I think I know what it is. Being an avid fisherman, I always want to see what's under the surface (by using polarized sunglasses). Being an avid photographer, I usually want to see more reflections on the surface.
I guess what I'm saying on this one is that it seems to be exactly in the middle (which is probably more real-world). My eyes are trying to find one extreme or the other. Hope it makes sense ;)
Chunk, I don't feel there is a strong photo here. There is no one thing that really stands strong as a subject. As Seb stated, there may be too much reflection, I'm not quite sure. One thing though, I am really curious as to what we are looking at exactly. I think i see a Crocodile in the lower right corner?

Thanks for everyone's replies - they echo my own feelings. This was taken on a roadcut on the Blueridge Parkway near Cherokee, NC.
