    Overcast Day at Trigg Beach

The Tribe and myself packed our bags and headed off to the beach! I took along my trusty K100D and 10-20, and here are two of the shots.

Let me know what you think.

Not too sure if the last photo should be completely B&W or not.....?

    Hi Danic,
I like Shot 1 a lot. The bird and the sandals add a lot to the photo.

First one is my favorite. I like the added interest the color provides in your second shot. I would be inclined to crop out some of the beach in the second one.

Cheers Yoyo and Shebang. I thought about cropping the sand, but I thought it might take some emphasis from the beach and place it in the sky. I don't think it would be about the beach as much as a photo about the clouds/sky. Perhaps another re-think is on the cards.

Danic - I really like the first one! The contrast in the sky, the tones, the colors and textures of the sky against those of the sand, the perspective, etc., all do it for me. And I agree with Yoyo that the sandals and bird add so much.
