    Out To Pasture?

I do not know what this truck looked like in its prime, but long after the better days are gone and it has been left in a pasture to rot, it remains worthy of fun photography. This was taken recently while in Chitina, Alaska. I also have the expected snow covered mountains reflecting in the glacial lake, but this is far more interesting. Hope you like it.

amazing colors, very well done, really like the composition, the contrast of the mechanical stuff vs the landscape is great

Yes, very nice! The only thing I wish the photograph had was a stormy sky in the distance, but what you have here isn't bad. Very sharp, colorful. Maybe a little sharper in the distance, which may be doable in PP.

Great shot!! Man, I bet those rust buckets looked good in there day. Makes we wonder where those wheels have rolled, and how they ended up there in there final resting place..its grave. If only old steel could talk.. Nice work!

    GB/Jetrim/Canyon Hiker:

Thanks so much for leaving your comments/suggestions. I wish there had been more definition to the sky, too. But, I was so fortunate to have San Diego-style weather in Alaska that any implications for photography did not matter. Thanks again. Oh, and I do have a couple more of this same subject that I will post as soon as I can.

    Big Earn/Gig:

Thanks so much for leaving your comments. I do have more of this little beauty. I will post more as soon as I can. It is very peaceful in Chitina, Alaska. It is a very long way from urban civilization but full of folks with great pride in their historical corner of the universe. Alaska is to be experienced.

    Thanks again.
