    Talking I had to smile

I love quirky out of the norm shots like this one...it makes an appliance have a personailty---I love it!

    Hey Mig,

Nice one. I enjoy these "out of the norm" pictures as well.

It remind me of a situation 4 of 5 years ago. I was going for a day hike in some moutains downthere in Quebec, on an overcast day in late autumn. While driving on some narrow isolated country roads we faced a very rusted car of the late 60's without wheels at a junction. It was just there, on the road, at abandon!! That was both spooky and fascinating at the same time but I wasn't into photography at all back in those days.

    regards

    Seb

    Nice Mig

Keep that camera at the ready. Nice catch. I don't know how many time I have wished I had a camera in situations like this or had one and not taken the time to stop and record the image. Well done!

Thanks YS - the original is in color, it was converted to B&W using channels in Photoshop, which I'm still trying to perfect.

Thanks for all the kind words! I've shot more in the past few days than I've shot in a long time. I haven't had time for processing and scanning, so I just wasn't taking pictures at all. I'm sooo in love with the 10D that I've been lugging it to work with me every day.

    Thanks again!

    Danielle
