    Orion 1

I really liked the background (weird small golden hills) but a picture of that all alone looked too empty so here is a boat as a foreground!

    Seb,

95% of the time when I open your threads I see photos of what I wish I could take... This is just amazing. You really take the time to get the right shot. You just amaze me with the shots you post !!! I like the capture of the seagull up there too.. just adds that last bit to it !!

    WELL DONE AS USUAL !!

Ditto, Ditto and Ditto, make sure the captain gets a copy of this. Beautifully framed...

Good boat shot. Contrast is a little high and did you dodge the center of the image? Like in a diamond shape, to lighten the boat? Last, the bow is still a little dark.

Where in the world is that?

Ben: Thanks a lot. The seagull was pure luck.

    mark: Thanks. I appreciate it.

Greg: Thanks. Unfortunatelly, I didn't got to meet the captain!

TenOx: Thanks. Actually, I went the other way. The center of the picture is straightforward but I burned arround the boat. The whole scene looks better in print but here is a slightly alternate take. I burned the cabin on the boat as it is a little hot on the original.

I like this A LOT, Seb. Usually I don't care for such straightforwards shots, but this one I think is really nice.

    P.S. don't give the captain a print...sell him one!

Very nice shot Seb. I really like all the shapes and lines. I think the fence (looking thing) adds a whole lot to **** shot as well. You've exposed this just perfect IMO. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the yellow bar to the left. It's a bit too strong. but everything else is wonderful.
