    an orangutan and a micro, thoughts?

    These were both takin while in malaysia...i have not edited them at all, so what you see is what I took, any ideas on what i could do to make it better? (except for the resize of course)

    Godfather - I like the apes shot the best. The composition of them in the frame is obviously a little clipped, but at least you captured nice expressions. But the contrast needs adjustment.... it seems a little flat. The macro shot is OK but the bug is too small - what's your max macro size? Is is a 1:4, 1:2, or 1:1 macro? If 1:1, you really could have gotten a lot closer. Also, try to use a smaller aperature to increase DOF..... this is esp important for macro shots where the DOF is inherently very shallow.
