I went to a classic car show this afternoon. This prop caught my eye, and really had me going for a moment; thought I would share it. Hope you like it.

I love the subject and color, but the ice cream spill is not big enough to dominate the lights.....the headlights are the attraction here...Interesting shot though!

Thanks for the leaving the comment. Funny, I had thought the size of the ice cream spill, being smaller than any one portion of the car rather was essential; had the ice cream been as large or larger than the lights it would have conflicted with the car. It is the disaster of the ice cream spill on the classic car, the emotional impact of that incident, that carries the shot. Or, at least so I thought. Thanks again. Yeah, I am relieved to hear it is a prop, it had me going too. Excellent composition. If I were to make on tiny nitpick - I'd like the hood line to be straight (w/headlights).

I love this shot CF. the placement scale and color are great. Personally wouldn't change anything. the reflection and shadow really show off the depth off the custom paint job :thumbsup:

Thanks, both for leaving me a comment. I had hoped people would see the reflection of the ice cream cup. Personally, I think it has a lot to do with the shot, as does the natural (meaning I did not use a filter) star burst on the fender chrome ornament. I have a shot with the hood line straight and even with the headlights, but having converging lines of the edge of the car, hood and headlights seemed to both add to the dimension of the shot and throw off the typical symetry that is the round headlights, straight lines of the grill and chrome. I dunno, just me I guess.
