    Open Waters.

I shot this with my old Olympus PAS.

I know the land is kinda underexposed, but I'm in love with the water on this.

    Any comments/critique?

EDIT: I tried Lightening it up. Its great, but I dont like some of the sky. Its too bright. Any ideas?

try simply opening up curves and boosting your shadowed areas. This should help to retain the detail in the sky and water while brightening up your landscape a bit more. good luck.

How about like this? Just a little adjustment to the curves. Lets you lighten the darker colors in the plants and darken a little the lighter colors such as the sky keeping the detail in both.

Edit: Looks Like Brent got in there while I was fighting with the uploader, but heres an example of what we where both talking about.

yeah these are tough shots, if you have a tripod, try a similar scene in HDR.

    Good composition and beautiful scene.

I know exactly where it is and everything, I mean, its only like 10 minutes away from me by car.

So maybe in the spring I'll shoot this again.
