How cheesy can a title be...

I have mixed feelings on this one.

A great shot and a wonderful DOF. The colors are great, and your minimal DOF works well.

The colors are very nice in this one. I am, however, distracted by the two flowers on the right. They are just enough out of focus, but still enough in focus to be irksome. Were you trying to balance out the frame, or something else? :frown: It seems rather unnecessary to include them in the frame. Also, you could get closer to emphasize the flower you were focusing on, and show off the inside better. Nice, but needs a little work.

Wow, that a deep flower. i like the composition, but have to agree with Dz..., they are just a bit to combersome in the pic. Some more blur would take care of that.

Thanks for the input. Couldn't get closer on this one though, the nikon wouldn't focus any closer. Of course it was a full auto p&s, with no abilities other than snap shots and programmed modes.
