There's too many to comment on individually, but as a whole they look like something I would have shot for my college paper because I had to, not because I liked the assignment. I mean that in the sense that they're all from the same position with the same angle, and the composition does not particularly add to the photo, which one really needs when the low light makes it challenging to get a technically good shot. Despite motion blur, the mic's appear to be more of the actual focal point then the players. I think some tighter crops, particularly on #2 and #6 could help them. As far as the b&w goes, color conversion won't sharpen, but it will give it a look that makes the blur a bit more "acceptable" I suppose. Try some vignetting too in order give the photos some more interesting elements.
