    Open And Closed

This is another one from my recent trip to Florence.
    I would appreciate your opinions.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Nice color. I guess conventional photographic wisdom would be to put one of those colorful towels or flags at the intersection of the thirds, or maybe the lamp. The composition is a little inharmonious right now.

    Hi Tom,
The building you catured has a not of characters: nice colour, interesting windows, and falling paints. The angle of view is a bit unconventional and the tilt gives some tension. I would like to see some symmetric/asymmetric views of theis building.

Tom, very strong subject. I agree with LL and Yoyo in the comp area. Everything looks fine except for a tilt in the image which makes it appear as if the wall is leaning backward. A perspective crop to level this off would make it right. Just slightly would suffice as it does not have to be perfect, a little tension is always good, just a bit too heavy as it is. I like this image .
