    Only Fools and Horses

    Hi All,
I had not taken photos for 4 months. I took this today with a panaramic camera and a Fuji Press 800. All comments are welcome.

    Yoyo!

Man that I have missed you, seriously!

I like your composition here, I think that this is a good use of the panoramic format (xpan eh?). I also enjoy the colors which are rather striking without being overly saturated.

However, I must say that I am distracted by the white horse jaw in the upper left corner. I don't think that you can really afford to crop this side without affecting the overall effect of the picture but I wish that jaw wasn't there.

    welcome back!!

I would've preferred it if you had focused on the horses individually, taking shots from all different angles. The scene is a little too busy for me. This reminds me of some cow/bull sculptures that we had here in New York City a few years ago. Same type of work and they were sprawled all over Manhattan and eventually auctioned off. Where exactly was this picture taken?

Hey Yoyo, good to see you back. I like the image for the colors and the creativity of the composition, but I would agree with Nina that it feels too busy. If the horses were in a more simpler setting without all the trees and garden in the bg maybe more effective.

Hi Seb, Thanks a lot for your comments.

Hi Nina, I am planning to take more abstract shots of the horses. The horses are placed in different regions in Hong Kong to promote a horse racing event.

Hi Gary, I agree with your suggestions. The origin idea was to play with juxtapositions.
